Neurodiversity-Affirming Therapy

Neurodiversity-affirming therapy recognizes that everyone experiences and navigates the world in their own unique way. My role is to understand your individual experiences, honor your strengths and challenges, and provide compassionate support that aligns with your goals and needs.
With 30 years of clinical experience, including many years working with people with developmental disabilities and Autism, I am comfortable adapting to different communication styles, processing speeds, and sensory needs. You never have to mask here.
Together, we might look at burnout, anxiety, depression, relationships, boundaries, or self-advocacy. Sessions can include concrete planning (for work, school, or home), emotional support, and building language for your needs so you can communicate more confidently with others. The focus is on deepening self-understanding, easing shame, and creating a life that actually fits you, rather than trying to squeeze into someone else's idea of "normal."
